Marko Milić and Uroš Krčadinac: Gaitless (2025)
Friday, 28 November at 8:00 p.m.
participatory performance
Kino Šiška, Katedrala
Duration: 45 min.
In participatory performance Gaitless, Marko Milić, artist working in the field of dance and multimedia, and Uroš Krčadinac, computer scientist, artist, writer, and educator, collaborate on the expansive topic of how AI could enable us to move. Could technology emphasize the awareness of our physicality, and could it be translated into a dance language or choreography? Gaitless is an ongoing study of dance as a phenomenon in a scientific context, combining artistic, scientific, and personal interests. The main premise is to use technology as a motivation to move in a way we didn’t do before, learning about how technology could move our bodies and not only our fingers. The idea is to present dance as artistic research while combining it with feedback, provided by artificial intelligence, with a special focus on experimentation, playfulness, openness, and acceptance of our dance-tech outcomes.
