CoFestival 2026

15th International Festival of Contemporary Dance
27 November – 4 December 2026

CoFestival returns to Ljubljana this November for its 15th edition. From 27 November to 4 December, the international contemporary dance festival will present contemporary dance and performance practices by Slovenian and international artists at various venues across Ljubljana, with the programme also featuring workshops, talks and an exhibition.

The international contemporary dance festival CoFestival 2026 will host at various venues in Ljubljana Lisa Colette Bysheim and Katrine Patry from Norway, Samwel Japhet from Tanzania, Italian choreographers Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi with the Studio for Contemporary Dance from Zagreb, Dragana Alfirević and Dejan Srhoj with the Pokretnica collective from Serbia, Moritz Ostruschnjak from Germany, Cherish Menzo from the Netherlands, Zhana Penkova Pencheva from Bulgaria, Jason Martin from Canada, Miloš Janjić and Marko Milić from Serbia, Darko Dragičević from Germany, Imre Vass from Hungary, and local performers Tatiana Kocmur and Jernej Šmid. Through the perspective of social genders and eroticism, the selected performances address issues of visibility and invisibility, appearance and background, norm and singularity. Igor Dobričić’s workshop will explore the body behind words and slogans, while the workshop Living Dance Archives will be dedicated to the history of dance.
