The mission of the platform is to elevate contemporary dance in the region and position it competitively within Europe. Through a regional partnership network, showcase festivals, initiatives promoting artist mobility, workshops, co-creations, and capacity-building activities, it aims to empower dance professionals and raise awareness of the vibrant and diverse dance scene flourishing in the Balkans.<\/p>\n<p>At the heart of the platform are esteemed international partners, each playing a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of contemporary dance in the region: Albania Dance Meeting (AL), Art Link Foundation (BG), Contemporary Dance Association Slovenia (SI), Croatian Cultural Center Rijeka (HR), Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance (HR), DAN.C.CE UNITIVA (GR), EN\u2013KNAP Productions (SI), Interart Culture Center (MK), Kino \u0160i\u0161ka Centre for Urban Culture (SI), The National Center for Dance Bucharest (RO), Students\u2019 Cultural Center Novi Sad (RS).<\/p>\n<p>The 1st edition of the Moving Balkans &#8211; Contemporary Dance Showcase will be held in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Rijeka (Croatia) and Zagreb (Croatia) between 10\u201313 of May 2025.
