The theorisation of somatics develops mainly as a form of kinetic functionalism, but its presence in the artistic field is not often discussed. The editors Pia Brezav\u0161\u010dek and Jasmina Zalo\u017enik have dedicated the Maska no. 215\/216, which will be presented at the event, to the discussion of somatics in artistic processes. They invited artists who work in this sphere to write contributions. Snje\u017eana Premu\u0161, Dragana Alfirevi\u0107, Thiago Granato, Marko Guti\u0107 Mi\u017eimakov and Ellen S\u00f6nderhult write about somatics in dancethe experiences of users of these practices are presented by Radharani Pernar\u010di\u010d in Ellen S\u00f6nderhult, while the view on somatics in non-artistic fields is presented by Zrinka Sim\u010di\u0107 Mihanovi\u0107 and Alexandra Baybutt.
