{"id":3802,"date":"2022-11-03T18:07:03","date_gmt":"2022-11-03T18:07:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cofestival.si\/2022\/?p=3802"},"modified":"2022-11-14T19:18:36","modified_gmt":"2022-11-14T19:18:36","slug":"feministicne-poti-plesa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cofestival.si\/2022\/en\/feministicne-poti-plesa\/","title":{"rendered":"Feminist Ways of Dance"},"content":{"rendered":"The inspiration for the series of diverse events entitled Feminist Dance Pathways was taken from a statement by Franco Berardi Bifo, who said that social solidarity is impossible between bodies that exist in a fragmented space and time, in a digitised and automated space. We asked how we can establish a link between society and (our) dance work, and what of our knowledge from the studio and from dance theory can be useful for society beyond the stage. Somatic practices, knowledge of the commons and groups, non-verbal communication, affirmation of procedural work, and resource pooling, are all strategies that we would like to explore and look at in more detail.<\/p>\n

The link between dance work and society is understood and offered in a broad aspect of relations, between bodies, contexts and knowledge, and with regards to overlooked phenomena from history, with the aim of mapping existing feminist strategies as well as the possibility of building new ones.<\/p>\n
